What is a Dynamic and Static character?

The essay is not additional work, but it is exactly what you will be writing on your board. It is required. You will get feedback and make finishing touches to your writing pieces that before adding it your board. Essays must be typed, double-spaced, using a 14 point Times New Roman, Calibri, Arial or any other legible font. Once approved, change the font to fit the board requirement.

SUMMARY: Write an enticing summary like you would find in the back of a book jacket. Do not begin with, “This book is about…” Use active verbs more than passive verbs (is, was, are…) Do not spoil the book for someone by including the ending.

POINT OF VIEW - “The author (name write in the (1st person, 2nd person or 3rd person” ? (choose one)Quote an example from the book.

SETTING - Describe, in detail, the where and when of the story. Use vivid language. Use a thesaurus. You can find one on the Merriam-Webster Dictionary on the library website.

CHARACTER ANALYSIS - Identify and describe the dynamic and static characters. Who are the protagonist and antagonist? Who is your favorite character and why?

THEME - Identify the main theme of the story. What is it and why is it important to the story?

CLIMAX - Explain

REVIEW FROM NOVELIST - Using Novelist (click on the link says "Find a Great Book") in EBSCO, look up your book Copy and paste a review from Booklist, Library Journal or any literary review of the book. Identify the lexile and reading level of the book. What is your review?

Dynamic And Static Characters Worksheet

In order to improve the machining precision of the magnetic suspension spindle which is usually installed on machine tool or other elastic structures, and to minimize the effects of machine vibration, the complex magnetic suspension electromechanical coupling system was studied. The design variables, objective functions and constraint condition of coupling system were determined. The optimized program was worked out based on genetic algorithm in VC 6.0 environment and the optimum PID control parameters satisfying static and dynamic machining precision of the magnetic suspension spindle were obtained. The unit sinusoidal response, dynamic flexibility and static flexibility of the coupling system were analyzed. The analysis results show that the dynamic and static characters of the coupling system after optimization have been raised obviously than that before optimization. The adverse effect brought by machine vibration could be reduced by optimizing the PID control parameters of complex magnetic suspension electromechanical coupling system, and the machining precision of the magnetic suspension spindle unit can be improved.

Characterization skit (dynamic and static characters)

Static characters will never change through the story. They will have the same personality, way of life, almost everything in the entire story. We even read some books that had some. For example, Maniac Magee. Maniac stayed the same throughout the story. He never looked for trouble, he always did the right thing, and whenever his “enemy” Mars Bar came up to him, he never resolved by violence. He did it in the most professional way. Another example is Timothy in The Cay. Throughout what we’ve read so far, Timothy still cared for Philip the entire story, he taught him everything he knew slowly. He is still the same old man he was in the beginning. Dynamic characters change in the story, usually after learning something such as an important lesson. An example of one is Philip in The Cay. Philip is changing by learning how to do things by himself. In the beginning, he was kind of a whiny brat, but now he’s maturing little by little so he can be independent. Someone else who was dynamic was Mars Bar, Maniac’s good friend at the end f the story. You see, in the beginning of the story, Mars Bar picked on Maniac, teasing him calling him names, he probably hated him more than anyone after he and Maniac raced. However, after spending some time, and by that i mean by seeing each other everyday going down the same blocks, a friendship started happening. They started talking one night, had some laughs here and there, and Mars Bar invited him to his house. This was at the end of the story though, when Mars Bar had more respect for him. He really had changed! In conclusion, this is what dynamic and static characters are, and examples of some.
